I don't know about you, but I wasn't exactly ready for the "real world" when I left high school. It just seemed like a rush to be free and make my own choices. I didn't realize how many choices I didn't even know about. It wasn't just hanging with friends as late as I wanted and eating whatever. It was real life.
First, I was first surprised how hungry I was. This lead to bad choices in boyfriends who could afford nice restaurants. What seems like a small thing can lead to bigger problems. I will be writing about the things I wish I had learned before many fateful decisions were made. I hope you or someone you know can benefit and avoid being surprised when starting your life on your own.
